Angus MacKenzie is a creative designer based on the borders of Buckinghamshire and the West London. His many interests include: architecture, design, drawing, illustration, all creative processes in film making and film scores.
An experienced qualified designer with a Masters in Visual Communication, Illustration with his first degree in Interior Design, specialising in retail design and with over twenty five years’ experience working in the commercial retail and public Higher Education sectors. Also an active volunteer in the charity sector, working alongside children, visually impaired and elderly.
Exploration of; everyday objects, the "normal" or extraordinary and "difference" continue to inform his creative process. Questioning general perceptions and the portrayal of disability and mental health related issues has been informed by his observations and experiences in the Higher Education Sector, dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease within the family and his own experiences following a diagnosis of “temporarily physically impaired” following an accident a few years back.
